Funmi Quadri and Co, electronic law companion has announced that it has successfully carried out the digitalization of the entire legal department of the Federal Inland Revenue Service, (FIRS).

In a statement issued at the completion of the digitalization, the online platform noted “We are proud to announce that we, at Funmi Quadri & Co. have carried out the digitalisation of the the entire Legal Department of The Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS).

They further stated that the digitalization would improve transparency and efficiency; “Through tax collections, the FIRS generated N2.11 trillion as revenue between January and July, 2017. FIRS has adopted e-services as a medium to achieve innovation, convenience and transparency of its operations to improve efficiency in collections and tax administrations.”

Explaning further, Funmi said; “This innovation has been extended to the Legal Department in ensuring efficiency and better service delivery.
Funmi Quadri was engaged to digitalise the entire legal department ensuring that all the processes in the department are now automated. The deployed system is to ensure efficiency and enhance the functions of the Legal Department.

This deployed system will undoubtedly contribute to the increase in revenue generation and also support the diversification from Nigeria’s dependence on crude oil revenue.
